Mr. Vinod Tawde who strongly believes in this saying decided to
be that 'favorable wind'. That's exactly why he, in coordination,
with Mr. Anand Mapuskar, Mr. Deepak Mukadam, Mr. Parag Vedak and
Mr. Sharad Bhagwat established the 'Career Foundation'. Or in other
words, an organization that makes students recognizes their passion
and assists them to achieve it.
Reason
for establishment
Gone are the days when students had only three streams to choose
from. The new era unleashes career options from fitness trainers
to numerologists, from astronomers to hair stylists, from blog writers
to investment bankers, and the list just goes on. Students have
countless professions to choose from. That’s’ exactly
why they should only do what they are passionate about. And ‘Career
Foundation’ facilitates this for them.
Objectives
The policy of the organization is aimed at ensuring that the nation’s
most important resource, its youth, is optimally absorbed into doing
something they like which will then lead to the development of the
country.
The organization’s primary objective is to help youngsters
choose their professions based on personal satisfaction and not
just on the parameters of liberating themselves from the shackles
of occupational pride as well as prejudice.
The organization believes that awareness about personal interests
and knowledge about the world of work are the building blocks of
making informed choices. Customized or rather detailed personal
counseling for students comes from this belief.
Students also have understandable perceptions about the status associated
with a particular career or profession, and their career choices
are often dictated by these perceptions. Career Foundation’
also aims to address these misconceptions of students by not only
illustrating examples but providing them the necessary data.

Correct information plays a pivotal role in the decision making
of a career. That’s exactly why ‘Career Foundation’
has comprehensive software that allows the student and his family
members to choose across 27 career zones. After feeding in the study
level the software gives out detailed data of courses – Eligibility
criteria, nature of work, award, duration, fee, admission process,
higher studies and job prospects. The selection of a particular
course will then lead to the detailed information of institutes
offering that course – Address of the institute, grade of
college, co-circular and extra - circular facilities available,
scholarships, etc.
Vocational Guidance Camp
Career dreams begin early. And hence career ambitions are complex
and multi-dimensional.
To make this simpler for the students, aptitude tests are carried
out at schools and colleges to judge the interests and capabilities
of the students. Suitable career options are then chalked out for
each one of them.

The organization has introduced a series of fairs and exhibitions
that not only expose students to national and international information
about careers and jobs but also gives them a platform to interact
with the who’s the who’s of various fields.
Industry Institute Interaction Programs
Career Foundation’ arranges internships or projects which
further helps students shape their career paths and also give them
a clear and authentic understanding of the industry they want to
spent their lives in.
